When Elvis Presley inspires a singer, the singer knows
the music can never be imitated, but only carried on as a tradition. So
when Ryder Preston started singing at the tender age of eight, he
referred to Elvis' music as a guide to discovering his own talent.
Since, he has become known for his "Elvis Show". As
Ryder says, "It is hard to have such a talented idol and not want to be
like him, but a clarification must be made". So Ryder ends each show
with a special message, "Nobody will ever take Elvis' place. .

Ryder can alter his voice so well in the Elvis style, the King himself
complimented him. I was outside a Los Angeles movie studio when I saw Elvis.
There were no fans around him, but me, so I gave him a tape I recorded. The
next time I saw Elvis he said he could not tell the difference between his
voice and mine.

Fans go mad upon seeing his exciting and electrifying "Elvis Show". but
Ryder does not rely on another man's fame to achieve his own musical goals.
His own voice is so diverse he can smoothly swing from a hard rocking,
get-up-and-dance song to a warm, romantic ballad. |
