Ray has been involved in his love for music since the tender age of eight
years old when he was encouraged to start playing guitar with the family
square dance band (Grandfather, Dad, and Uncles).
He has since then been involved in
music in one form or another for over forty years, and his strong country
roots have given him the opportunity to perform with many of the top names
in the country music business (Johnny Paycheck Ray Price, Jack Green, Jeanie
Sealy, Hank Thompson, and Ronnie McDowell) to name a few.
A very dedicated musician, Ray
at one point in his career, he was said to have been one of the best lead
guitarists in the West Texas area. He also plays rhythm guitar and pedal
steel guitar. One of the high lights in his career was performing at the
International Steel Guitar Convention in St. Louis, Mo. 2001, where he had
the opportunity to work as lead vocalist for many of the Hall of Fame Steel
Guitar Players (Chet Gibson, Buddy Emmons, Paul Franklin, and many more.

Ray has formerly recorded for MCR
records Nashville, TN. and is currently
recording at Sound to Sea Studios as
well as Tenn. Productions in Knoxville,
TN. Where he has two country CD’S to
his credit, Just Country and
Just Country 2.
He put together the “Tribute to the King Show” which includes an
impersonation of Elvis in exact copies of his 70’s era jumpsuit costumes,
jewelry, even his sunglasses, and concert belts are made by the same people
that originally made them for Elvis and most of the sound tracks he uses are
original live sound tracks that are certified by Graceland.

Combine all of this with his rich powerful vocal presentation and he is as

(Professional Elvis Impersonators Association) which is based in Las Vegas,
NV.
An affiliate member of
A.P.EP.T.A. (Association of Professional Elvis Presley Tribute Artists)
based in the United Kingdom, and a member of EEN (Elvis Entertainers
Network)
Ray has also had the pleasure of
working and recording with DJ Fontana( Elvis’s drummer), Scotty Moore, and
The Jordanaires. His Show is a high energy show and encourages a lot of
audience participation. The "Tribute to the King Show" has been greatly
received by audiences every where he has performed the show which includes
Michigan, Ohio, Virginia, Tennessee, Canada, as well as his home state of
North Carolina.
