A Tribute To
John Denver
Jim Gribbon was born in North York, Ontario. He moved to
Kitchener in his early childhood. Jim has been married for 12 years to
Beverley and they have two children.
One of Jim's hobbies was going to karaoke. Quite often he has been told that
he has an uncanny resemblance to John Denver. Jim was asked to sing "Annie's
Song", and came to find his voice was similar as well. This was the start of
this endeavor of paying tribute to John Denver for Jim.

In July of 2008 he was invited to Harmony Square in
Brantford, Ontario. Before anyone had even heard him sing, the crowd new he
was there to tribute John Denver.
Also in July he participated at Ribfest in London,
Ontario.
In August of this year Jim won first runner-up out of 47 contestants at Rock
of Ages, in Brantford, Ontario.
Jim is continuing to work on his tribute to John Denver.
