4/27 Here is part of a letter I received from ETA Barbara Del Piano she is referring to my contest Reflections 2009 and the start of her career at Reflections 2005. Barb might be retiring from paying Tribute to Elvis but I know her voice will never be silenced as God gave her such a gift that I know she will continue to share it with the world.

I just wanted you to know that the performance at your contest is the LAST performance of my Madam Elvis Career. I will no longer be performing. I deleted my www.MadamElvis.com  web site already, and I sold the last of my albums. I started my career in public with your contest, and I am ending it the same way. WITH people I consider my family. Barb
Thank you Barb for giving us such a thrill with watching and listening to you...What an awesome talent you have....Elvis would have been proud. So many good things happened for you during your association with FTDP. Now I hope it continues wherever your path may lead now. You will always be a part of the FTDP family and a dear friend.....Bobbie

3/13 FYI Old music groups would get new protections from impostors under legislation that passed the state Senate on Tuesday. But rest easy: Elvis impersonators should be OK. Senate Bill 226 would hit musicians who perform under another band’s name with fines of $5,000 or more, unless they have permission to do so from at least one member of the original group. The intention is to protect old-time groups from “a sophisticated form of identity theft,” sponsoring state Sen. John Crosby said. “Unfortunately existing law has failed miserably in this regard,” said Crosby, R-Tifton. “For years imposter musical groups have been duping customers. ”Tribute bands wouldn’t be subject to fines as long as their advertising identifies their performance as a “salute” or “tribute,” the bill states. And the legislation wouldn’t outlaw impersonations of performers such as Elvis, Neil Diamond or Frank Sinatra, Crosby said. “All they have to do is tell the truth,” he said. Senate Bill 226 passed 54-0 and moves to the House of Representatives for consideration. http://www.macon.com/741/story/646021.html

Here is some interesting news I received from : C. Resch Studios

03/11 The Elvis TCB Tour bus is part of a collection purchase for a future Museum exhibit that is in the progress of being put together and will be located in Tupelo Mississippi. As I am contacting you today, we all know that the bus was purchased by Elvis Presley, he drove it on a couple of occasions, Elvis also switched bus's now and then to avoid Fan detection in his years touring, how many times he did this no one is certain.
But more authentic inside TCB bus pictures can be found at this link:
http://www.boswells-legendary-elvis-show.com/calendar.html
He (Keith Boswell) personally used this bus and was a friend of Bruce's for a period of time. You are welcome to link the page or our site into your articles.

Fans across the world will be celebrating his Diamond Jubilee. We are jumpsuiting onto the birthday bash train and creating a very unique event to commemorate this milestone in the Presley Legacy. 6/15 Letter to Elvis Fan Club Presidents: Legacy Hall of Fame, Inc. Bill & Linda Kinard
Dear Fan Club Presidents and Fan Club Members: It is an honor and a privilege to introduce to you and your fan club members to Legacy Hall of Fame, Inc., Linda Kinard, my wife, myself, Bill Kinard, and our project for your review and consideration. Legacy Hall of Fame, Inc. is a 501 (3) (c) nonprofit foundation.
The Project: Legacy Hall of Fame Inc. proposes to build a museum for the specific purpose of building a lasting tribute, to the legacy of numerous famous individuals, (legends) in the state of Mississippi. However, Elvis Presley will be one the museums most prominent features. The museum will be constructed to display art, memorabilia, vehicles, etc. and the "TCB Tour Bus", that "Elvis Presley" helped "J.D. Sumner" purchase. "J.D. Sumner & the Stamps Quartet" actually used the TCB tour bus; however Elvis did drive it at one time, according to the article in the book J.D. Sumner wrote. "Elvis His Love for Gospel Music and J.D. Sumner". We ask the fan club president to get behind this worth while project and inform your fan club members, family members, friends, and other fan clubs to support Legacy Hall of Fame and help it raise the funds to construct the museum and restore the TCB Tour Bus? Please visit our web sites at: http://www.LegacyHallofFame.org  and our other fans project at: http://www.elvispresleyheights.com. You may also contact us, Bill & Linda Kinard at: (662) 620-9966 and/or e-mail us at: LegacyHallofFame@gmail.com
