Greg Jaqua

A Michigan Native, Greg Jaqua has worked as a professional musician for over 30 years, and has performed his tribute to the King for more than a decade. An accomplished musician, Greg plays several instruments and remains involved in various recording and music production projects.

Greg is a man of many talents, and has been involved in many different aspects of the entertainment industry over the years both in front of, and behind the scenes. He's worked in film, on the stage, in the recording studio and in Radio. Greg is based in Allen Park, Michigan (a suburb of Detroit) and is available world-wide.

Detroit entertainer Gregory Jaqua (pronounced Je-kwa) says his "dreams have come true" when he was awarded the title "Best International Elvis" at the Porthcawl Elvis Festival in Porthcawl, Wales, UK. The award was presented to Jaqua by Charles Stone (Elvis Presley's tour manager throughout the 1970's) who served as emcee for the weekend's events.

ETA's (Elvis Tribute Artists) from several countries participated in the event, which is the largest and most prestigious Elvis Festival in the world.

Jaqua says he's wanted to visit the UK since he was a small boy, but has never been able to act on his life long dream until now. "The whole trip was so much more fantastic than I could ever have imagined" said Jaqua, still reeling from the experience. "The countryside, the architecture and especially the people were just amazing. I can't wait to go back." He won't have to wait too long though, as Gregory Jaqua has already been scheduled to perform at the festival in 2010.
