Welcome from

Waterville Maine

 Don Boudreau

Don Boudreau got the bug for singing Elvis  when he did an impromptu concert for his mother and her sisters one Christmas when he was a child.  They got a big kick out of it so he did it for a few of his friends and everyone thought it was pretty good.

He  started playing guitar when he got out of high school and met his future wife through a church folk choir. Her dad is a great jazz guitar player and taught Don a great deal . Don's  wife and her sister are both voice teachers and sing like birds.

As an adult Don was asked to participate in a talent show that the school foodservice association was having at the Augusta Civic Center which has a plaque that says it was Elvis' last Maine appearance.  That time Don did a routine with no tracks; all the songs he did were with his guitar and people had a ball.  Don took first place!!

Don's musical life since high school has been mostly in church although he has played some small jazz gigs with his Father in law. Don was the church music director for a local church in Rockland, ME and ran a contemporary praise and worship team with his wife.

As a youngster he never realized how much gospel music Elvis had done; now the gospel numbers are among his favorites. Don loves guitar playing, singing (Elvis of course) and bowhunting as his primary hobbies.

The picture of the group has two of Don's brothers on the far left is David then Mark, Eric Don's cousin in the middle with the white shirt, and Eric's father Jerry, Don's uncle, on the far right.

A Word from Don:

"Keep in mind I'm just getting my feet wet in terms of the performance and business aspect of being an ETA.  I'm more or less testing the waters to see if I might be able have a fun side job and maybe even use my talent for fundraising events and good causes."

Birthday party at the Uplift organization in Gardiner, ME. The party was on Elvis' birthday January 8th 2009. It was f a gentleman who was turning 66.  He is cared for by the state and the caseworkers wanted to do something special for him.  He absolutely loves Elvis.

Everyone enjoyed it and the people under the care of the state were absolutely having a ball dancing around; they were stealing the show and making us all laugh.

Added note:  I am proud to have Don among the ETA's on my web site.  He has an amazing voice that needs to be heard.  Don might be just starting out in the ETA World but in time I feel you will hear more about his fantastic gift of a God given voice

A couple years ago Don took his first moose in Canada with his bow and arrow.  So you're probably thinking what does this have to do with Elvis right?  Well after he got the moose in his good old uncle's truck, he drove back to his camper to pick up a couple of beers, kind of making it like he just went through some rite of passage or something.  So he turns on the radio when they are out in the middle of nowhere deep in the woods in the Gaspe area of Quebec and just as clear as a bell on the radio in the middle of nowhere is the King himself "Elvis" singing "Such A Night."  At that moment Don felt like, my God Elvis' music reaches the ends of the earth and even now is still popular.  Don thought this has got to be one of the best moments of his life and he would never forget it as long as he lived.
